Loan Status Descriptions

Origination: The note has been signed and opened by Tuition Options and payments are not yet due. Interest is not accruing on the note in this status.

In School: The note is open and payments may or may not be due. Contact Tuition Options to review your account.

Repayment:  Payments are due and if interest is charged, it is accruing.

Repayment II: The note is open and due for payments but likely is past due. Contact Tuition Options immediately to review your account.

Deferment: Authorized period during which a borrower is not required to make monthly payments.

PreOrig –Awaiting Signature: The application process has been completed but the contract has not yet been signed or e-signed.

PreOrig – Missing Disclosures:  Required documents for compliance have been received by Tuition Options. Contact Tuition Options or your lender as soon as possible.

PreOrig – ESigned: The note has been e-signed and is in the process of being originated and open.

PreOrig – Cancelled: The note has been closed prior to signature. Contact your lender for more information.

PreOrig – Denied: Due to optional underwriting requirements set by your lender, this application has been denied. Contact your lender for more information.

Post Repayment: The account is delinquent and due for an outstanding balance. Contact Tuition Options immediately to review your account.

Paid In Full: The note has been paid in full and no further payments are due.

Pre-Paid In Full: The note has been paid in full and no further payments are due.

Pending Cancellation: The note may or may not be due for payment. Contact Tuition Options immediately to review your account.

Repay Cancelled: The note is closed and no payments are due. Contact your lender for more information about your account.
